•Qissais a group of storytellers, who are living to tell the tales of their forefathers in the cacophony of languages that is South Asia.
•Qissa’ Go is a theatre collective which is focused on literature and languages from South Asia, whilst Aleph Collective, its parent body focuses on creating awareness amongst communities, groups & individuals, as well as conflict resolution using a variety of mediums. The group is based in the UAE but their focus of work on both counts is centered on South Asia and the diaspora, or as in the latter's case, also extended to the Muslim world at large.
•This year they are bringing all their programming under Aleph Collective and working to put together a festival in May 2020. So work under both QISSA' GO and Aleph - Festival of South Asia and will start off as pop-up events around the UAE in December and February, to lead up to the festival eventually.
•In 2018, they started working on the Climate Crisis in South Asia and its diaspora, and as a first step put up an original theatrical production, which was showcased in Al SerkalAvenue as well as at the Jameel Arts Centre.
